Days of the week | வாரத்தின் நாட்கள்

There’s also another longer way to say the days of the week! Just add the word "கிழமை (Kizhamai)" (which means "day" in Tamil) at the end of the short form.

For example, Sunday in Tamil is "ஞாயிறு (Nyayiru)", and with "Kizhamai," it becomes "ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை (Nyayitru Kizhamai)"!

The same pattern works for all the days—just add "கிழமை (Kizhamai)" at the end. Let’s take a look!
